ABOUT

I'm a CFA Charterholder working in valuation and financial modeling at a Big Four consulting practice — across financial services, commodity, shipping, manufacturing, and FMCG, with exposure to aggregate enterprise value exceeding USD 2.5 billion. I've also worked in corporate finance at Seven Retail, a holding company for a portfolio of consumer brands, covering financial planning, fundraising, and capital allocation.I'm also the founder of Sobat Model, a free financial modeling program that has taught 600+ learners across 30+ universities and 100+ companies, in partnership with CFA Society Indonesia.

WHAT I DO

I take on selective engagements in financial modeling, valuation, and corporate finance — both as execution work and as advisory. Most of my work involves supporting fundraising and investment decisions, or teaching the underlying mechanics to finance professionals.

Model Build & Review

I build and review financial models for businesses raising capital, evaluating investments, or planning operations. Deliverables include 3-statement projections, valuations, and model audits.

Decision Support

I engage with founders, finance teams, and investors on specific finance decisions — reasonableness reviews, assumption checks, planning, and business case analysis.

Training & Workshops

I teach financial modeling, valuation, and finance fundamentals to corporate teams and university audiences. Sessions are case-based, delivered online or in person, calibrated to the audience's technical level.

SELECTED WORK

Valuation model for an early-stage coffee bean company — 2026

An equity research analyst needed a financial model to support an indicative sell-side coverage of an early-stage coffee bean company. Built a 3-statement projection with valuation logic on a one-week timeline, working within limited-information constraints and basic operating assumptions. Delivered a model the analyst used as the foundation for their coverage materials.

Investor-preparation advisory for a B2B meat distributor — 2026

A finance partner at an early-stage B2B meat distribution business needed help reviewing model assumptions, calculation logic, and how the numbers were framed for potential investors. Identified calculation gaps in the working capital forecast that reduced the projected requirement by half, and worked with the team to reframe how key assumptions and outcomes were presented — resulting in a clearer pitch for investor conversations.

Financial modeling education — 2025 to present

Delivered financial modeling programs across free and paid settings — including two 7-session programs under Sobat Model (600+ Indonesian learners across 30+ universities and 100+ companies, in partnership with CFA Society Indonesia) and a paid 4-session program for accounting students at President University. Content covers foundational financial statements modeling to advanced topics including project finance, cash waterfall mechanics, and tax loss carry forward modeling.
